Since the construction of traditional Sichuan brocade was composed of basic-weave, the surface of the fabric shows a regular interweaving planar texture and is difficult to represent a three-dimensional effect.
Owing to the diversity of consumer’s demand, the traditional Sichuan brocade products have to be innovated in order to survive in a competitive environment.
